My journey of Turning Passion into Purpose

I grew up in Bavaria, Germany, where baking was part of my childhood, inspired by my mom and our family’s weekly cake-baking tradition. As a teenager, I began questioning the food industry and became vegetarian, developing a lasting commitment to simplicity, balance, and respect for ingredients.

Before moving to California in 2024, I built a career in international business, studying International Management and Finance across Europe and spent 13 years working for global companies. Baking, however, remained my constant passion.

The move to the U.S. gave me the courage and opportunity to turn that passion into purpose. I wanted self-determined work that fit my family life and addressed a problem I personally experienced: the lack of bread made with simple ingredients and pretzels that tasted like those from home. After more than a year of training and experimenting in sourdough and pretzel baking, I founded Pretzels & More in September 2025.

My goal is to provide authentic Bavarian pretzels and wholesome baked goods made with care, transparency, and ingredients you can trust.
