My journey from corporate to crust
Baking has been a part of my life since childhood, when my mom introduced me to our family’s weekly cake-baking tradition, a ritual that became a true passion.
Moving from Germany to California in 2024 was a turning point that gave me the courage to believe in myself and also change my professional path: leaving behind a corporate office job to follow my heart and create high quality food with my hands. Inspired by the Bavarian pretzels and bread I grew up with in Munich, I decided to bring a taste of home to life through my microbakery “Pretzels & More”.
I love working with seasonal ingredients, experimenting with sourdough and various flours, and exploring endless recipes for both sweet (but not too sweet) and savory creations.
I’m on a mission to bring healthier pretzels to California and inspire people to be more mindful about what’s in their food.
