My journey from corporate to crust

Baking has been a part of my life since childhood, when my mom introduced me to our family’s weekly cake-baking tradition, a ritual that became a true passion.

Moving from Germany to California in 2024 was a turning point that gave me the courage to believe in myself and also change my professional path: leaving behind a corporate office job to follow my heart and create high quality food with my hands. Inspired by the Bavarian pretzels and bread I grew up with in Munich, I decided to bring a taste of home to life through my microbakery “Pretzels & More”.

I love working with seasonal ingredients, experimenting with sourdough and various flours, and exploring endless recipes for both sweet (but never too sweet) and savory creations. My hope is not only to bake, but to share: to bring you the joy, comfort, and connection that great bread can offer. So whether it’s a crusty loaf, a golden pretzel, or a treat fresh from the oven - I can’t wait for you to enjoy every bite.
