Cheddar Mustard Dip

Ingredients

  • 200 g sharp cheddar shredded

  • 150ml milk

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp honey

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter

    In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. Make the base

    Whisk the flour into the melted butter.

  3. Add the milk

    Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously so the mixture stays smooth.

  4. Add the cheese

    Stir in the shredded cheddar until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

  5. Flavor it

    Add the mustard and honey and stir until fully blended.

  6. Serve

    Serve immediately while warm for best dipping with pretzels. You can also keep it warm in a slow cooker.
