Feta Tomato Spread

This feta tomato spread is a quick, flavorful dip that pairs beautifully with soft pretzels, crackers, or crusty bread. It’s creamy with a hint of tomato richness — great as a snack, appetizer, or party dip.

Ingredients

  • 100 g Feta cheese

  • 200 g cream cheese

  • 1 garlic glove

  • 50 g tomato paste or Ajvar

  • salt and pepper

  • garnish: dried tomatoes or chives (optional)

Preparation

  1. Combine the cheeses: In a bowl, add the feta cheese and cream cheese. 

  2. Add flavor: Add the minced garlic and tomato paste (or ajvar). 

  3. Mix: Use a fork or kitchen mixer to blend everything until smooth. 

  4. Season: Add salt and pepper to taste. 

  5. Chill: For the best flavor, let the spread chill in the fridge for about 1 hour before serving. 

  6. Serve: Garnish with dried tomatoes or chives if desired and enjoy with Pumpkin Seed Sourdough Rolls or Classic Sourdough loaf.

  • Tomato options: Use ajvar (a roasted red pepper spread) if you want a richer flavor variation. 

  • Garlic intensity: Adjust the garlic to your taste — roasted garlic is a milder alternative.
